Service Description

Who fancies a Fancy Footwork clinic with a twist… if you do then come and join in the fun at some very special raised pole clinics! Raised poles can help to maximise the benefits of regular Polework, as it amplifies the effort the horse must put in, resulting in greater lift and more suppleness in the body, greater flexibility through the joints and it can help to recruit the horses abdominal muscles and engage their core which will develop their strength over time if done correctly! Raised poles will also regulate both the length and height of the stride when using them so it’s great to help enhance the horses paces! Please note that these sessions will progress quickly, and won’t be suitable for horses just coming back into work as your horse will need to have a good level of fitness, neither will they be suitable for horses who haven’t been to pole clinics before or who aren’t familiar and confident with polework, and if you’re rehabbing your horse please check with the industry professional treating them that raised poles are a suitable exercise for whatever they are rehabbing from! Spaces will be limited, these clinics won’t be repeated this year and the same layout will be used for all of the raised pole clinics regardless of the venue. All abilities welcome providing you can walk, trot and canter, fully in control in a group environment (if riders are under 12 years of age or if you have a horse who you aren’t sure will cope with a raised pole clinic please contact Fancy Footwork Equestrian directly to discuss suitability BEFORE booking) Groups of up to 4 riders £30.00 per rider Please note your horses vaccinations must be up to date to attend any Fancy footwork Equestrian clinic.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy If you cancel your place for any reason, your booking will only be transferred to a future clinic IF your place can be filled. If your place is not filled you will not be eligible to a transfer. If you cancel within 48 hours of the day of your clinic you will not be eligible to any transfer. No refunds given. Arriving late If you arrive late to your session for any reason it will be upto the coach running the clinic to decide whether to let you join in, as it’s highly disruptive to other horses and riders in the group, and the exercises are structured in such a way as to be progressive, so need to be ridden through in the correct order to aid the horses understanding and keep their confidence. If this is 20 minutes or more after your original start time, no entry will be permitted and your place will be forfeited.
